Concept: To continue my exploration of identity and memory, I photographed my partner, writer/performer Tanya Marquardt while she moved in the studio in front of a camera set to take multiple exposures, capturing and layering their movement. As they state: “The process echoed our desire to mirror form and content, and surprised us by becoming a document of my ever changing trans body, gender-in-motion, a fierce and vulnerable mucking about in an in-between space.”
