Gate, 2019, 110" x 96" x 7", Digital images mounted on canvas, branches, twine, hemp cord. Gate constructs an entrance to a forest environment, where images are collected from many locations in the Northeast and brought together in one place. The images show growth, regeneration, decay and destruction, that are all natural processes. The linear elements, closeups of fragments of forest details, are connectors to the many images, threading them together, and can suggest streams or forest trails.
