Tracy Lopez

For this BA Exhibition, I chose to work with the topic of immigration. I am a first-generation student from a family of immigrants and it is an honor for me to share the story of someone who has experienced the struggles of being an immigrant: my mother. In my short film: Madre Migrante, my mother shares her journey of coming to America for the first time and what the experience was like. This is a story that so many other immigrants can relate to, as their journey was a difficult one, as they crossed over to the unknown territory of the United States of America.
